I was born in Ercolano ( Napoli ) Italy.
Went to Scuola Alberghiera ( Hotel School ) in Italy for 2 Years, 1 year in Bratto della Presolana ( Province of Bergamo in the region of Lombardy
Second Year in Rapallo just outside of Genova near Portofino and Santa Margherita, I was at the Grand Hotel Bristol.
Worked in a few Hotel restaurants and about 10 Years on cruise ships.
I came to New York City in 1984, worked in a few restaurants in Manhattan. The restaurant I worked the most years ( 26 ) was " Le Cirque Restaurant ", an institution in New York City since they opened in 1974.
I am still working in the hospitality industry in New York City. I came up with this idea to create a social network for people in the industry and not, to share and post recipes, photos, videos.
Share your dining experience when you go out to a restaurant, talk about it, post photos, rate the food, ambiance, wine list, service, etc...
Anyone that is a wine connaisseur, wine sommelier and cocktail mixologist can share their expertise.
